WINNIPEG, MB, CANADA, April 15, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Mr. Jacques J. Gagne, BA, CPP to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his exceptional effort in the Healthcare Industry. As a Regional Manager of Security Services and Special Projects with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, as well as throughout his incredible 30 plus year career, Mr. Gagne has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
The Winnipeg Health Region serves residents of the City of Winnipeg as well as the Rural Municipalities of East and West St. Paul, with a total population of just over 700,000 people. They also provide healthcare support and specialty referral services to nearly half a million Manitobans who live beyond these boundaries as well as residents of northwestern Ontario and Nunavut who require the specialty referral services and expertise available within the Winnipeg Health Region. The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority operates or funds over 200 health service facilities and programs.
At its roots, Jacques' role as Regional Manager, Security Services and Special Projects, was to create a vision and implement a holistic security program for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Over the last 7 years, he has encompassed best practices and deployed a technologically integrated security enterprise. Jacques prides himself in maintaining an open door policy and reaching out to facility and clinic managers who require his services and expertise.
During his collegiate career, Jacques earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Waterloo, a Certificate in Advanced Police Studies from the Canadian Police College, and a Certificate in Basic Police Recruit Formation at RCMP Academy. He is a Chapter member, holder of a Security Management Service Certificate, and a Board Certified Protection Professional from ASIS International. Jacques is also an affiliate member of the Royal Military Institute of Manitoba
Mr. Gagne was the recipient of a Long Service Medal from the RCMP and a Service Award from the Duke of Edinburgh program as a Youth Mentor and Coach. He also received recognition as a Legacy Fund supporter from the Royal Military Colleges Club of Canada. In addition, Jacques was the recipient of the Chief of Defence Staff Coin as a Mark of Excellence for outstanding effort.
